8Bahn Harbour is starting to be some kind of a tradition. Over more than a year all the editions were sold out and every night was special in its own way. The Harbour apparently is a good location for a long, nice night of electronical music. Therefor a new edition is planned for the 29th of March. In January we programmed just one international guest. This time we have two, and maybe three. Our first guest is one of the most well-respected contemporary house producers and reigns from Ukraine. Vakula’s music is timeless, usually a bit psychedelic and always with the dance floor in mind. Last year he released his first album, ‘You’ve Never Been to Konotop, referring to his birthplace.

The second artist of the night is Marquis Hawkes. Besides is music, Hawkes surrounds himself with mystery around his personality. The only thing known, is that he catches the plane from Berlin when he leaves for his DJ-set at 8Bahn. Most of his releases dropped on the Glasgow based imprint Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, which was one of the hottest labels in 2013. Hawkes’ productions are raw, sometimes a bit ghetto, and meant for club-use.

Last act of the night is one of 8Bahn’s dearest friends, the always lovely Dollkraut. At the end of 2014 you will understand why we want to call him our ’third international guest’. The last couple of years ‘Dollie’ released a lot of great music, but this year will be his break through year. An album on the way, a well-received EP on Amsterdam’s Tape Records, and compliments from the big stars around the world. By the way, his newest video-clip is made by Strand Electric, who will, coincidently, take charge over the visuals this night.
