Chemical Clouds EP release show

Chemical Clouds creates radio-friendly pop music inspired by bands like Nothing but Thieves and Arctic Monkeys. They are known for their catchy melodies, but also enjoy adding strong drums and explosive guitar solos. Before you know it, you will find yourself humming along to the relatable lyrics.

The band emerged in 2018 from the collaboration of singer and guitarist Jesse Bouwmeister and bass player Sjoerd Wolbert, soon joined by drummer Jeppe Haafs and rock guitarist Mees ten Vaarwerk. As a quartet, they’ve made significant steps in shaping and expanding their sound, which brought them to stages such as at the Mañana Mañana festival.

Each of the four band members brings their own unique musical background to the mix. They see themselves as four molecular elements whose diverse styles blend together in a ‘chemical cloud’ of sound. The spectacular new formation that results is daring and invites curiosity. Their debut EP, “Acid Free”, will be released in May 2024.
