Magic bullet rips through impressions of love and heartache and takes listeners on an intimate, reflective journey.
It presents a number of original songs, which were born from lived experiences of chaos and catharsis, stories told through the language of funk, blues and soul.

The Vonks
Verenigd door een gezamenlijke liefde voor groove bands als Lettuce,
RH Factor en Tower of Power beginnen The Vonks vanaf februari 2022
met samenspelen in Arnhem.
Snel wordt duidelijk wat de missie is van The Vonks; songs schrijven in
de funktraditie met veel ruimte voor improvisatie en soli. Met als
gevolg dat elke live show anders is en de spanning en het spelplezier
het publiek stimuleren om te dansen en te grooven.
Dikwijls flirten zij met elementen uit (neo-) soul, jazz en rock, doch
altijd met een groovy core. In 2024 staat de debuut EP op de planning,
die ongetwijfeld het nodige stof zal doen opwaaien in de Nederlandse
groove scene.
