two piece monster from northern germany. debut: “death by burning” recorded in early 2013. no fancy art production -> just raw display of power. the half german / half turkish band exists for not even a year.
true battle hymns and sinister sounds of darkness. no gimmicks, no image, pure rage. bone crushin’ like the berzerker’s path. in spite of the fact no bassguitar has been used on the record, MANTAR manages to sound even meaner and heavier than a five piece band due to superior skills in general. flogging beats and blackened melodies meet feedback orgies and doom mayhem.
Hailing from Tilburg, The Netherlands, IZAH takes elements of sludge, noise, hardcore and post-rock and blends these into a dark and gloomy mix of heavy riffs, downhearted melodics and densely layered sound dynamics. After having released two EP’s, IZAH played numerous shows with the likes of Baroness, Mono, Cult of Luna, Celeste, Wolves in the Throne Room and The Ocean.
In 2015 IZAH released their debut album Sistere with an album presentation at Roadburn Festival.

On their second album “No Image”, Dutch band GOLD have found a way for their background not to hamper their forward-thinking urge. Rooted in punk, psychedelic rock and post-hardcore, they have grown into a singular, self-reflective and serious force. “No Image” documents a pioneering post-urban act that subtly demolishes shackles and diminishes borders. “No Image” is a dream of a die-hard-free de-ghettoized world, where nothing is normal and nothing is ridicule.
Above all “No Image” is personalproof of what happens when individualstake a good look in the mirror, get over themselves, push their ambitions and reach deep within to collectively create a path of their own. GOLD is now officially a bandon adventure. Not for the joy, but for the trip.
So the band answers to the bartender, “We’re GOLD and we’re here to raisethe bar. That’s wry!”

A perfect encapsulation of old and new from a highly awesome newish gaggle of grindsters. A crushing mix of menacing doom laden slabs of Gothenburg, hades borne filth akin to a leisurely steel toe boot to the head, injected with a big dose of modern technicality to revive you. Aural brutality of surgical precision done perfectly by some mighty precise german crustaceans.
