Kate Donkor—aka Oshunmare—is an Arnhem based triphop artist with hunger for thunder. Oshunmare combines electronic, worldly, and experimental elements into a unique musical style.
Her performances are expressive and captivating, characterized by a strong visual presence, theatrical elements, and interaction with the audience. She draws inspiration from West African mythology, particularly the rainbow serpent Oshumare.
Together with visual artist Jeroen Bevers she will treat you on an elaborate audio-visual showcase to accompany the release of Oshunmare’s debut album “MIMAGIDU”.
