“The end of the third day” is their second album and has became to be one of the melodic/doom metal albums of the year, being ranked in number 5 on Legacy’s November soundcheck plus other great reviews and ranking in magaizes such Rock Hard and Metal hammer and in dozensof important european webzines. This great response has led them to appear on next editions of the mighty SUMMER BREEZE in Germany.

Officium Triste is in april 1994 opgericht met als doel om loodzware langzame en melodieuze doom/death metal te maken. Inspiratie werd vooral gevonden in de muziek van bands als Paradise Lost, Anathema, Chorus of Ruin, My Dying Bride, Celestial Season en Katatonia.
In 2014 bestaat Officium Triste 20 jaar. De band heeft door de jaren heen opgetreden met fameuze bands als Candlemass, Anathema en Swallow the Sun en op festivals als Doom Shall Rise en Madrid is the Dark gestaan.
