Ohrima is een progressieve metalband die in januari haar debuutalbum Catoblepas heeft uitgebracht. Momenteel zijn zij druk bezig met nieuwe muziek die uitgebracht zal worden voor de tour in 2024 en een doorontwikkeling is van de sound die zij op hun album Catoblepas hebben laten horen.
De band brengt een energieke show met de tenen over de rand van het podium, melodieuze gitaarpartijen en intense afwisselende vocals in ieder register, ondersteund door een intense, energieke ritmesectie met een nadruk op groove.
Hun 2023 album ‘Catoblepas’ is een dynamisch album waarvoor veel inspiratie is gehaald uit bands als Haken, Mastodon en Devin Townsend. Door velen omschreven als een grote verrassing, laat je ook verrassen met deze unieke en energieke show.

Esprit d’Escalier
Esprit d’Escalier is een Franse progressieve rock/metal band, opgericht in 2018 in Orleans. De band’s nieuwste release ‘Thresholds’ legt de fundamenten voor het aankomende album welke gepland staat in 2025. Thresholds is een aangrijpend prequel EP en verfijnt het geluid van Esprit d’Escalier met invloeden van Progressieve Metal tot Post-Hardcore, Jazz en Avant-garde. Samen met prog-collectief Hypertension Prod Collective (met o.a. Synapse, Altesia, Hemeroplan) hebben ze een naam opgebouwd in de lokale prog scene van Parijs en Orleans. In 2024 hopen ze internationaal uit te breiden en het EP gedurende 2024 ten gehore te brengen op podia in heel Europa!

Ohrima is a progressive metalband who recently released their debut album Catoblepas. Right now they are developing new music for their tour in 2024 which will be a further development of the sound on their album Catoblepas.
The band will bring an energetic show with their toes on the edge of the podium, melodic guitar riffs and intense and varied vocals, supported by an intense, energetic rythmsection with an emphasis on groove.

Esprit d’Escalier
Esprit d’Escalier is a French progressive rock/metal band, founded in 2018 in Orleans. The bands newest release ‘Thresholds’ lays the foundation for the upcoming album which is planned for 2025. Thresholds is a moving prequel EP and refines the sound of Esprit d’Escalier with influences ranging from Progressive Metal to Post-Hardcore, Jazz and Avant-garde. Together with prog-collective Hypertension Prod Collective (with bands such as Synapse, Altesia and Hemeroplan) they made a name for themselves in the local prog scene of Paris and Orleans. In 2024 they hope to expand internationally and bring their EP to podiums around Europa in 2024.
